In the middle of the mid 1950s, travelling has become more convenient with the increase in the manufacture of commercial air liners to ferry passengers around the world, with this increase, there was a need from the traveler to know both the home & local (country of visit) time, as digital mobile technology has not been invented yet. So again, watch designers came up with the straight forward solution by combining 2 watches into 1 & thus the dual time watches were born.
